Dancing With The Stars Contestants Tweet About Injuries
Dancing with the Stars contestants Mya and Tom Delay used twitter to speak of recent injuries. Last Monday, Mya tweeted on her twitter page that she “”Went 2 the hospital late last night 2 get stitches. Deep cut from glass. Only caught 2 hours of sleep but feel great. Must be adrenaline.”
While last week, Former House Majority Leader Tom Delay wrote about his recent injury on twitter revealing “No stress fracture! It is a pre-stress fracture. I live for another day.”
The new season kicked off Monday night with the men taking the dance floor and will air for 3 straight days on ABC. Delay had a less than impressive performance earning a total score of 20. He teamed up with two time dancing with the stars champion Cheryl Burke. They finished lwith 16 points for the Cha Cha, but finished last for the Viennese Waltz relay with only 4 points. Mya and the women perform tonight.
Mya became a singing star at age 18 when she had three top 10 singles. Since then, she has released 5 albums and has appeared in the movie Chicago. Delay was first elected to congress in 1984, and the Republican rose the ranks to become the House Majority Leader.
