US President Barack Obama came with family and relatives to Arizona for his trip to Pheonix. This is his third trip since he took office.

However, his previous visits were totally business related and this is the first time that he had come with the first lady Michelle Obama and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, to take a trip to the Grand Canyon scheduled for Sunday.

There had been tight security in around the Phoenix and even air traffic had been shut down for a while as the Presidents motorcade drove off.

The Obamas arrived on Saturday night at Phoenician Resort where they stay when in town. They; however, had their dinner at the Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen in the central Phoenix.

All of the tourists visiting the Grand Canyon on Sunday should be prepared for closures and/or delays as the President and his family will come to the place, according to the National Parks spokesperson. On Sunday it will be totally a private tour and the President will not take part in any public events.

On Monday, though the President also has plans to visit the Phoenix Convention Center to render a speech at the 110th Annual Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention.

The 4-day trip began Friday with stopping in Montana and Colorado, and it will conclude after President’s speech at Veterans convention. President’s family will fly back home on Monday.
