Redmond O’Neal Rumors Untrue
Redmond O’Neal the most troubled son of Hollywood actor Ryan O’Neal and late actress Farrah Fawcett is incarcerated on possession of controlled substances and presently is serving a sentence for four months in California detention center. Reports say that Redmond O’Neal is also undergoing treatment for his severe drug addiction.
News buzzing that Redmond O’Neal is soon going to feature on a TV reality show a deal that has been brokered by his dad Ryan O’Neal. The show will feature how Redmond made a comeback to the outside world after his release from the prison. The new series is expected to focus on how Redmond struggled to make a comeback without use of drugs. Several news reports say that Redmond plans to do this to pay respect to his mother whom he believes have given lot of trouble because of his drug addiction. According to Redmond it would be a tribute to his mother who passed away in June, battling with deadly cancer. He was given a special permission from prison to attend his mother’s funeral. Again according to reports of In Touch magazine, it has been known that Redmond will receive his mother’s inheritance only if he remains sober and lead a normal life.
The untitled series is speculated to be shot soon after Redmond’s release from jail in the month of December. Reports say that Ryan O’Neal will also feature in the show.
Ryan O’Neal also has some bad memories of his personal struggle against drug addiction. In September 2008, both father and son were arrested for illegal possession of methamphetamines.
However, sources close to Ryan O’Neal have confirmed to TVs, Entertainment Tonight that the news about his sons becoming a TV reality star and chronicles of his struggle against drug addiction to be featured is completely untrue.
