While fans have been speculating of changes in formats and show themes, millions of Americans are waiting for the next season Idol to kick off. In fact so far there is no talk as to the theme or format of Idol (which probably might be retained more or less the same) but there have been so many changes happening behind the screen, including picking the judges.

The auditions are set to begin in a few days in Denver and clock ticks as to announcement of few names including Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi.

Sadly for Paula’s fans though its now certain that the choreographer and singer and TV personality will bid a permanent goodbye to the Idol show. And quite the contrary Kara DioGuardi struck a deal to be back on Idol.

As Paula’s fans are flooding emotional messages on various social networking sites regarding the exclusion of an encouraging judge like Paula, there came another surprise today from the producers of Idol; that Victoria Beckham (you read right), the one who is always talked off as a person who either has poor fashion knowledge or dress sense will be a guest judge on Idol.

If rumors are to be taken any serious, the celebrity star will make a quick buck of $264,000 for acting as a guest judge for just 3 episodes.

It looks like Idol is not settling in with old names but play with BIG names. But will viewers sit and watch Idol which has BIG names instead of someone as worthy as Paula?  We just have to wait the moves now!
